Music

"Music that doesn't move the listener or the player is a futile exercise and a waste of good paper."
- James Barnes

Primarily, I am a musician, and especially, a music teacher. I love to teach private lessons, groups, and ensembles, as well. I believe in student-centered learning.

Performing with the EIU Wind Symphony in November, 2012.
I give lessons to bassoonists of all ages and levels. I have taught students as young as 11 and as old as 18. I give most lessons at EIU's Doudna Fine Arts Center, but am willing to travel in some cases, such as group lessons. Please e-mail me at setucker2@eiu.edu for rates and more information.

Also, I sell bassoon reeds for $12 each. I will adjust each reed, and teach the student to make adjustments, depending on age and level, as well.

For a copy of my resume, repertoire information, etc., please contact me!
